Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Bridged, easily stepped over, until I met my nemesis a couple miles up and had to bail for the second time today due to sketchy water crossings.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Learned of a new group yesterday - the STC (Shelburn Trails Committee). They have done a meticulous job on this trail. Good signage, blazes, etc. Further up above the nice ladder they put in, it is a little brushy and there are some blow downs. Looked them up and saw what good they've accomplished in the short years they've been around. Thanks!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: they'll enjoy the water, you'll enjoy removing their ticks.
Bugs
Bugs: @#$%^&* TICKS!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: May have lost a bead bracelet (crystal, blue, and Rudraksha - an Indian berry dried out into a brown bead). Prema her key - has a "P" on the keychain.

Comments
Comments: Go do this soon - the spring run off is absolutely beautiful. Also, once the leaves are grown, they will obscure some of the views. Spent a good time at the falls. Further up, there is a sketchy, damp ledge (reminiscent of that area on the Edmands Path), some has kindly placed a climber's rope to hold onto. Shortly after, there is a fantastic ladder. Its rungs are more like steps than rungs. This area has nice views of the Presidentials. The brook is constantly on your left, gorgeous! Trail was a little harder to follow up near the water crossing - blowdowns and brushiness. There is a big birch lying across the trail near this crossing. Bailed at this point. Would like to go back.
