Sawyer River Road closed. Parking lot is not plowed - mushy/icy conditions in the morning - AWD/4-wheel was definitely preferred. A lot of cars needed to be pushed into spots. |

| Comments: |
The trail was in great condition - snowshoes all the way. There were only a few sections near the top with big globs of ice mixed with hard snow. It was all easily managed with snowshoes. And with at least 30 people in 2 large groups hiking this day - the trail is now even better packed. No views, unfortunately; the summit was socked in and very windy. |
