Comments
Comments: Ascend 19 mile brook trail, over to carter dome, zeta pass to mt. height, descend carter dome back to 19 mile brook trail

Amazing day. Lucky to have clear views from Mt. Height! Monorail is quite tricky at the top going down as well as going up. Happy to have gaitors and spikes to keep snow out when I did posthole which seemed inevitable with the slowly disappearing/destabilizing monorail. Later in the day the monorail became slick with slush. My friend and I brought mini backpack sleds and slid down the monorail which was haphazard but fun! We felt that descending would have been very slow and difficult on foot with the steep incline and slippery balance beam monorail- sliding down on our butts just seemed easier because at least we weren't falling over!
