 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Easy to miss trailhead. If you’re heading north, slow down as you pass Wildcat Ski Area as it’s just 0.1 mile past it on the left. You can see the white trailhead sign from the road. Roadside parking. I was the only car there around 6 when I got there and 7 when I left. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
No issue. I don’t even recall the stream described in the books!! |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of deadfall. This trail could use some clean up. Fresh blue blazes are nice to have as the footbed isn’t defined given that it’s a new trail. I was surprised to find myself looking around for the trail a few times. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Pretty steep and you’d have to watch them around the ledges but I imagine most hiking dogs could handle it. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Unlike my hike earlier in the day there were none! |

 | Lost and Found: |

I wanted to do a little something more after my redlining the trails around Caribou Mtn so I finished my day with this on my way back :) It was beginning to cloud over when I got there and the Washington was in the clouds by the time I got to Lila’s Ledge. On my way down it started raining. I got back to the car just at the right time!
This trail is surprisingly hard to follow. Just look for blue blaze. Lots of deadfall on the trail. Pretty steep but coming down wasn’t unpleasant like I thought it might be. Well signed junctions. |
