Comments
Comments: We did this as an out and back so it was a long day! Trail was pretty dry until about halfway up Scaur Ridge when the snow started. From there it was typical spring hiking - trying to pick the most stable point and never knowing when the next ridiculously deep post hole was coming. Spikes were helpful as some of the hard packed snow was slick, especially in the steeper sections. In all, a fun day and great way to avoid water crossings and super steep terrain!
