Delighted to be at the summit with "Old Man and the Saw" who completed 25 years of hiking Moosilauke every month. An incredible achievement! Congratulations to Larry and best of luck for the next 25 years!
Trail-conditions probably as good as you will find on any 4K mountain right now. Bare trails initially followed by intermittent mono-rail which quickly became permanent. Solid and reasonably wide (3-4' snow-depth) although still a bit of a balancing act in many places. Fresh Spring-snow around the summit - couple of inches with up to 10-12" drifts. |
