Comments
Comments: Below ~3100’ Livermore and Scaur Ridge are both free from snow and (mostly) dry. Above 3100’, the monorail quickly appears and becomes wide enough snowshoes seemed to be the right call - saw many knee and hip deep postholes from people who had done it in spikes.

South facing and sunny aspects of the ridge are down to bare ground in many places; north facing and shaded aspects (including the steep parts of the climbs up north and middle peaks) are still 100% snow and ice, even off trail.

Overall, a great spring day in the mountains!
