The trails lead to two peaks with really good views. Lover's Leap (south peak) was recently cleared out for the snowmobiles. You get there by heading up the spur snowmobile trail east off the main trail. From the peak you can see from Killington to Franconia Notch to the Presidentials. Then in the other direction there's Stowe, Camel's Hump and other Vermont peaks.

Spruce Knob (north peak) is reached via a hiking trail northeast off the snowmobile trail, right before the bridge. The hiking trail is a loop trail and a short spur heads off north to the peak. The Knob has open views of the Presidential Range and northerly views up the Connecticut River valley to Dixville and beyond. To the west you can see the old radar tracking station in East Haven, Willoughby Gap and many other nearby Vermont peaks and ridges.
