Cardigan Highlanders Volunteer Trail Crew finished their Spring patrols of the five miles of hiking trail we now tend on this mountain. We raked all 90 drains including one re-dug and four added. We sawed and cleared 41 blowdowns. We brushed 1.2 miles of mostly hobble bush, which cuts easier now when the leaves are small and we can see the stems. We were 8 volunteers for 75 hours Sat May 4, and 2 vols. for 6 hours Thu May 9. |

 | Comments: |
Many hands make for light work, and the views through leafless trees are a treat this time of year. Thanks go to our team leaders who led three teams on different trails to get the jobs done safely, and to the people who stayed safe and showed good team spirit. |
