Trail in good shape overall, wet in parts of the lower trail after 0.3 miles in. |

Spikes were not needed until above 3000 feet. Wore spikes for last 0.4-0.5 miles to the hut and ~ 0.25 miles after the hut. Opted to go with no traction on the way down, poles only and was OK. Was surprised to see the limited amount of snow / ice vs other mountains I’ve hiked within the past week.
Had the summit to myself, stayed for almost an hour! Great day on the trails! |
