Comments: Conservative Convenience Peak

We crossed Route 3 and entered the woods just behind the fire station. Soon we were at the railroad tracks which we crossed and began heading up the hill in a straight line towards the height of land. The woods were fairly open but filled with leaves and bouldery sections so you had to be careful of unexpected holes. About 1/2 way up we crossed the National Forest boundary marked by signs and red blazes. Just before the summit there was a steep ridgeline to scramble up. Once on top it was fairly flat. The jar was easy to spot at the RHP as it was high up on a tree and the sun was reflecting off the glass. We signed in then made our way back down to the car. Up and down in just under one hour hiking time!
