Comments
Comments: Overnight camped at Naumann tent site. Tent platforms are still under the snow. Made it without snowshoes but did some postholing between Mizpah Springs Hut and Mt. Peirce where not many people had hiked in the winter. Also hard to get from the packed trail to the tentsites without snowshoes. Mizpah Springs to Mt. Pierce was difficult with lots of winter blowdowns. Might want to carry snowshoes if you plan to go from Mizpah Springs to Mt. Peirce. We didn't have snowshoes but we made it.
