Comments
Comments: The access road is gravel until just past the first cell tower. It starts out gradually then becomes quite steep at times until you reach the turnoff for the first cell tower. Here, it takes a left turn towards the ridge. Just before the high point of the ridge, which has more equipment on it, the road takes a right turn and becomes dirt. We continued straight up to the shed and solar panel instead and found a bypass trail that paralleled the road for a bit, thus avoiding a flooded section. Back on the trail/road, we continued past a second cell tower and finally up a ledgy section to a third. We determined the high point to be the ledges just beyond the tower after searching in vain for a jar. Great reception up there, being next to a cell tower, so we were able to check to see if anyone had mentioned a jar in one of the write-ups: no luck! By this time, the drizzle that had started around the second tower had turned to pouring rain! We put on our shells and beat feet down the road to our car!
