 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The access road was bit muddy, should dry later in season. Limited parking - not good place for Meet-up Group as North Groton Road has very little shoulder for parking along the road. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Small Patches |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Larger brooks were bridged, smaller brooks were easy to cross. I seem to recall 2-3 blow-downs around Crosby summit appeared to be 12" or so diameter shouldn't take too much time to deal with. One requires getting down on your knees to get by. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trails are well maintained, the roads are well equipped with extensive drainage ditches which were doing there job this day. |

 | Comments: |
I enjoyed the ridge walk very much. It was somewhat overcast so views were interesting, but subdued. I could see myself returning on a better day. I had time to visit Cliffs Loop and Little Pond both worth visits. The Former Remick Place cellar hole has very old and odd looking rusty debris in it - would love to know what the heck it could have been. There is also some very strange looking structure near beginning of trail. |
