Comments
Comments: This trail leads up to an east-facing outlook a short distance below the "summit" of Carroll's Hill, located at the northern end of the Franconia Mountain Range (no, not those mountains). This hill is unnamed on the USGS topo.

As noted above, the trail is mostly a combo of woods roads, which were wet and muddy, but not too bad. Grades are easy to moderate except for one steeper section. 0.2 mi. below the summit, a footpath leaves the third woods road (which continues across the ridge I assume?), and passes through an area of high rock faces before descending to the viewpoint, which looks out toward Mt. Monadnock. A neat area.

This entire route is on private property, but conserved under an easement held by Monadnock Conservancy, and the landowners welcome foot traffic.
