Water Crossing Notes: no problem crossing but some big frozen water blowouts on upper ammo trail

Trail Maintenance Notes: few leaners and duckunders mostly from the frozen rain

Dog-Related Notes: no dogs today. very hard-packed and ice up on the summit cone.

Comments: snowshoes up ammo trail which was nicely broken out. put on crampons at lakes of the clouds hut. stayed with crampons unitl descent on Jewell Trail, where we put snowshoes back on. Jewell trail broken out as well. ice axe for summit cone and Gulfside trail towards Clay.
Beautiful day to be out. no wind and mch easier hiking than yesterday.
saw many of the hardcore winter hikers who post on this site.
