Comments: Decided to try a route taken by some hikers on nhmountainhiking.com since Five Summers tends to be flooded this time of year. Headed straight into the woods on a line perpendicular with the road, through a tree farm. Soon encountered prickers so dropped down into 'regular' woods which were pretty clear, leafy, dry and lots of small spring twiggy growth. A steady, moderate climb up to one bump, then a second, which we believe is Goves middle peak. A final steep climb had gotten us to the middle bump and the ridge which we were able to follow all the way to the north peak. Took us a bit of searching to locate the RHP jar (my Gaia route looks like spaghetti). It has a large boulder below it and now also is covered in orange duct tape to make it a bit more visible! Lunch, then we headed back along the ridge, dropping steeply before reaching the middle peak. About 1/3 of the way down we hit a logging road which we followed almost all the way to the road. When the logging road turned away from our heading, we dropped down to a stream which we followed to unmaintained Mountain Road, right next to a snowmobile bridge. We had popped out about .5 miles downhill from our car. This might be an easier way to ascend...there was also a conservation road about halfway between where we popped out and our car which seems to lead towards the North peak.
