Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No dry feet on any of the un-bridged crossings today, Carlton Brook running well.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: With no exceptions that I can think of, there was some manner of downed lumber on each of the trails we were on today. Some were stepovers, some were able to be ducked under, while others were just the spindly crowns in the trail corridor. We flicked aside the small bits as we could, and ran in to a lone RMC trail crew member, who was out clearing a large blowdown on upper Diagonal. Some mud and running water throughout.

Comments
Comments: Took no prisoners today in Randolph, and knocked out most of the trails between Durand Road and Randolph Hill Road. No trails were dry, but only a few had snow, the upper part of Diagonal (mostly between Wood Path and Pasture Path), Pasture Path, and Notchway having the most. Some of the bits along lower Carlton Brook (Glenside and Groveway particularly) had some lingering ice and snow. A cool and mostly cloudy day, but the sun felt good when it was out. Nice to only see one person (the lone trail crew guy), other than my companion, all day!
