 | Comments: |
I walked the class 6 continuation of Smith Pond road shy of the height of land and then bushwhacked towards Kingsbury. I hit unfortunate regrowth/thorns to start, but then wide open woods. Found door handle and red painted rocks at the highpoint. I headed right at the Jones col, initially having open woods, but then hitting cuts again. From above the col, I worked in open woods up to Jones. I found a piece of cord and more red paint at the summit. I hung an antler on Jones and otherwise recognized both highpoints. To return, I headed down to the road and followed it back to the car. |
