Open lot at trail head. No snow for a few hundred yards - then it was monorail all the way with much more snow up high. Some soft snow and if you miss the monorail, you will post hole. I stayed on the Glades and cut over to the slope and walked up to the tower. The open slope was soft and wet like a sponge. The snow/ice was falling off the tower as I stood there - warming up but not going anywhere fast. |
