Comments
Comments: Plan B...12:00 start time at the Highland Center. Smooth sailing on a broken out base. Surprized how little new snow there was. One determined postholer was trashing his way up with some epic holes but all others had snowshoes on. Straightened out path to Webster Cliff Jct where previous trail deviated right well before then. Hop over to Eisenhower a mix of soft loose powder, never really deep..some blue ice.. and lots of fgr/with a breakable crust.. Not much snow up here except in drifts. Trail deviated along the ridge in several places but gets you there. Once up to the cone there was more blue ice and some harder fgr so switched to crampons. Spectacular undercast, light winds and warm temps...what a nice treat this was
