 | Comments: |
The Lincoln Woods trail is a base of packed snow & ice, with occasional sections of bare ground. Micro spikes were perfect for travel. Franconia Falls trail was an elevated mono-rail of packed snow which, despite the warm day, held up well. A bit soft, but no post-holing. A foot or more of snow in the woods. The falls had an impressive volume of water today, and the adjacent ledges were free of snow and ice. |
