| Water Crossing Notes: |
No issues - no real crossings on this route. No evidence of open drainages or thaw damage. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No blowdown issues. Freezing rain led to some drooping saplings and drooping boughs in the trail corridor. Not too bad, all things considered. Blazes very good until viewpoint, then snow-obscured. Sign at viewpoint spur seemed to be missing. |

| Comments: |
Broke trail - not bad with just a few inches of light snow. There seemed to be a few inches of powder over a crust, which was over a moderately firm base on the trail, and over a weak base elsewhere. Glades were sometimes awkward in steeper spots, as the powder nullified the snowshoe crampons on the crust. Some drooping ice-covered saplings and boughs, but in general the corridor was good -- a tribute to the maintainer(s). The trail proper was obscure on the last few hundred feet of the climb, so I free-formed it, following a ski track to the ski trail near the tramway station and took a herd path from there to the summit. |
