Great hike yesterday up to Mount Starr King and Mount Waumbek. Weather was almost perfect just a little warm. Snowshoes got a workout for a good part of the hike. Wouldn’t have made it along the ridge to Waumbek without them. Still at least 4 feet + deep snow at the higher elevations. Snowshoes worn down until the end of monorail. Wore spikes up part of the way. |
