 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked in lot across from Zealand Road on 302 |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Postholes, Slush |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Two of the crossings were pretty risky. Unless you have long legs your feet will get wet on the first. Second crossing I was able to hike up to where it was bridged with snow but that had other challenges...deep snow, spruce traps, etc. |

My pup was a trooper - hopped the water crossings better than I did. |

 | Comments: |
A normally easy, hike was super challenging due to trail conditions. Monorail was very narrow and I was postholing even in snowshoes at times. I would avoid this one until water levels come down. |
