| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The first major crossing - 1/4 mile in, not the stream just off the parking lot, is NOT crossable! Very high and fast. Even with bushwhacking upstream quite a ways, there are no usable spots. As this is the smaller of the two crossings, the second one is probably worse. |

| Comments: |
Aborted trip. The river is very high and not crossable at the moment. I was there with several other groups and various options were explored, but we all bailed. The monorail is unstable and even with snowshoes, bushwhacking upstream was very hard. Off trail snow is still very deep.
Give it some time to go down. |
