Comments
Comments: Spikes from car to Kinsman Ridge Trail in early AM. As soon as I started the last .5 up to North Kinsman I started to posthole a bit to much for my liking. The monorail up there looked wider than it actually was for my weight (or at least my attentiveness to stay on it). Switched over to snowshoes and didn't have much issue after that other than a bit of sticky snow as the morning wore on. Open rock on the south side of North Kinsman as well as at summit of South. My best guess is the rest of the ridge has 4-6 feet on it still from the blazes. Kept the 'shoes on till back at hut. Barebooted to car with a few controlled slip and slide instances down the switchbacks.

Totally clouded in all morning on the notch side of the mountains and fairly clear to the west.

Rain this tomorrow and then at end of next week sure to change conditions quickly

Awesoe to be north for a quickie on Good Friday :)
