Well it was a great and warm day out. Snowshoes went on about 1.3 miles as walking on the side of the ice in the middle is not good for the trail itself, ever. So we got my .1 redline of the flume finally and went and had a snack on bald peak. I was a head case and therefore was very verrryyy slow on my uphill game but Melissa stuck through it since it was nice and warm out. We saw people in spikes, yacktrax, snowshoes, and barebooters….. Well someone was in shorts as well! It is spring and people forget it is still full winter on top of these peaks. Overall great day and 2 more peaks in the bag for Melissa's spring 4k list and my April grid list. |
