Checked the trail conditions before leaving trailhead at 8am. Was hesitant in just microspikes due to below comment of no one successfully attaining summit without snowshoes. Was not an issue. Snow is hardpacked. Postholed each maybe 3x, no running water underneath so it was more funny than anything. Summitted and was back to the car by 1215p. Grey jays are hunggrrryy. |
