 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of room to pull off the side of the road at Hutmens trailhead. I don’t think you could see Halls Ledge trailhead from the road if you were driving by it; it’s behind them girafrail and further obscured by the snowbanks. Only car at Hutmens at 8:30am and upon my return just before 2. |

|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Hutmens Trail wasn’t blazed except maybe where it coincides with ski trails and it would have the blue diamonds. Halls Ledge was blazed and flagged in yellow fairly frequently. Not an evident corridor though so it needed to be followed with care; I missed one or two turns. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw one with a couple of skiers near Carter Notch Road/the beginning of Halls Ledge Trail. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Saw some flying around. Not a nuisance yet. |

 | Comments: |
Started off very cloudy and foggy in the high 30s at 8:45 when I started by warmed up quickly and the sun come out. Really miraculous day :)
Snowshoes are definitely still needed. I regrettably took them off near the bottom of Halls Ledge but had to put them back on due to knee/thigh deep postholes (my bad). |
