Half our group wore snowshoe, half wore microspikes. Most of the people we saw on the trail had one or the other. Those with spikes did post hole a little here and there, especially on the descent as the snow got softer. Snow is still several feet deep. Really beautiful day, hiking in short sleeves or single layers. Canada jays at the junction and ravens at the summit. |
