19MBT is well-packed - fast and easy. Barebooting/microspikes possible - snowshoes are better.
Caught up with a group of 4 (June, John, Steve and Gary) on the Wildcat Ridge Tr. They were breaking trail in pretty deep snow (barebooting will be a bad idea) - and the 5 of us continued to do so all the way to Wildcat D (descended along the ski-trails). The ridge trail is now reasonably packed but no telling what rain/snow might do to it Sunday. Note: small detour from trail on the ascend to Wildcat - but just follow the packed trail. It will be okay.
Thanks to J&J for the lift back to 19MBT trailhead - and thanks to all of you for being so nice to Cinnilla.
