Comments
Comments: Barebooted Jewell to Gulfside - breakable ice starting around treeline. Microspikes went on for Gulfside - blue ice and black ice. Sizable patches of blue and black ice continued all the way to Mizpah Hut - would hit significant bare area, take off spikes, then need them around next turn. Mizpah Cutoff and lower Crawford Path were both quite wet. Heard that Ammonoosuc Trail needed crampons.
