Water Crossing Notes: Not an issue
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail blazed in white for the AT. Not that it was difficult to follow by redlining standards but the trail was more obscure in some spots than I anticipated. No navigational issues
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I don’t recall any but they’d probably be fine
Bugs
Bugs: Saw some flying insects. I didn’t see any biting me but I felt itchy the entire hole... maybe the black flies are out?!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None

Comments
Comments: Microspikes definitely needed yesterday with all the ice. I almost took them off once or twice since there were some long stretches of bare trail but I’m glad that I didn’t. That said, it’s possible that today’s and tomorrow’s rain will just melt everything that remains.
