Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: based on prior reports we attempted to park at the drivable end of cutting hill land in lyme. the parking area is now signed against parking with threat of towing. the sign looks pretty new. not knowing about other possible routes up we parked back on pinnacle road at a point shortly west of cutting hill road and walked up from there. only added maybe five minutes each way.

Comments
Comments: from the old parking we continued up the woods road which was mostly snow free with some minor mud and small icy spots. we then continued on a foot path up through open fields then back into the woods before reaching the summit. a couple short stretches of snow in spots. shortly before the summit a light blue blazed trail joined from the east and may connect to a woods road and then high ridge road, but I can't say for sure. from the summit another trail is signed as going down to franklin hill road. after enjoying the great views we descended the way we came.
