| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Lot off Clinton Road is plowed and accessible. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Postholes |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction, Snowshoes |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All natural snow bridges are still there and strong. Enough of the snow has melted off the actual bridge that you can walk on the boards. But that one mini-bridge between it and the parking lot requires some care. |

| Comments: |
There were a few places up top where snowshoes may have been of some use, but I had no trouble with microspikes the whole way, but there are a few places near the bottom where it is a little too slippery for barebooting, and of course that sheet of ice near the summit. The snow is beginning to have that wet feel and often clumps. I found its texture a little too rough for comfortable sledless butt-sliding. Bring butt protection or prepare to walk the whole way back down. |
