Comments
Comments: Used snowshoes up to Monroe, well-packed trail up to the hut. Switched to microspikes (crampons would be good too) after Monroe. Put snowshoes back on after the descent of Esienhower. Easy snowshoe down from Pierce to Crawford Notch to our car. Crawford Path well packed on the way down from Pierce. Great day to be above treeline. Pretty windy on Esienhower and Pierce.
