Excellent day for this climb. The trail was nicely groomed and the snow was still frozen. On the descent at 1:00 it was just starting to soften a little but still very firm. Snowshoes would have been pointless today, we all wore microspikes. Only got one critical remark from a skier, several skiers chatted with us. We three were the only hikers on the trail today everyone else was skiing. |
