Comments
Comments: Do NOT hike unless you have crampons!! Lots of ice up on Lafayette and in the ridge making it very dangerous. The rest of the trails were in good condition below tree line. Snowshoes got a free ride but in the sun the snow was melting so in the near future they may be needed. Beginning of falling waters was chewed up by postholes which was very annoying but still managable. Beware that near the first switchback someone went off trail and it’s well packed making it decieveing and easy to loose the way. Other than high winds and lots of ice on the ridge it was a good day. Saw only two hikers descending after they sunmited only little haystack
