 | Comments: |
Both on the South slide of South Hancock and Mt Osceola`s slide, I used snowshoes. They worked great with the use if the televators. On this climb the snow got a little slushy southern exposure. I wore snowshoes back until I reached the area just above the open granite just off trail. I switched to hillsounds, but was not in a great place to make THAT decision. I had to make sure that I anchored my pack while I changed my equipment. It was the right decision for me. Snowshoes were not going to work. Just an awesome day to be out!!
