Comments
Comments: Trail starts climbing right away to the ridge which ‘undulates’ (I.e., PUDs) all the way to Holt Peak. Bare booted to just beyond Burton when we reached a large ice and snow field that we couldn’t avoid. Used hillsounds the rest of the way. Reached posted sign for the summit but realized a cairn further on the side trail was the actual high point. No jar. Great day for a hike and a great section of trail, easily navigated with lots of viewpoints.
