Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Left cars at Beaver Brook, took a few over to Seven Dwarves Motel and parked there to start. The owner has graciously plowed a small area for hikers. We all left a $10 thank you on the windshields. Highly recommend that anyone who chooses this route does the right thing and leaves them some thank you $. Good will goes a long way to continuing this route. Walked over the bridge without traction per request of the bridge owner's sign. Continued past the old way of going and walked a little further along the driveway until taking a left on a snowmobile trail. Followed this to Haystack Road.

Comments
Comments: Spikes for a while, sticky & looser snow caused many of us to switch to snowshoes. Kept them on until down to the Gale River Trail parking lot due to the sticky snow which is not compatible with spikes. Some dirt showing on Gale River Road. Still over 5' of snow up high.
