Comments
Comments: Valley way has a decent monorail for most sections. The rain today is certainly changing things and it's SPRING (in case you didn't know) so things will change quickly. The monorail starts to fall apart somewhere after the Valley Way tent site and turn into a post holers wet dream. It's difficult and doable, but it mostly didn't matter since I was sliding down on the way up, and down on the way down. After getting soaked with the rain I called it a day at the hut. Post holing in snowshoes is always fun right?! So there was some of that, and definitely lots of ankle rolling off the sides of the monorail on the way out. On the plus side (overall it was a good day) the falls are in full force and I highly recommend taking Fallsway right now which also has a decent monorail in place.
