I drove in on West Joppa Rd. in Warner and parked where it becomes 4wd road. Initially, the sides of the road were posted, but it soon turned forest society land. |

I followed the 4wd road up, noting that it seemed different than shown on USGS. At a point I began to bushwhack up. There was some steep going near the top. Very interesting summit area, which is recognized. Snowshoes are a must off trail, though won't be for long. Lots of blue ice on the road. |
