Plenty of parking at the ski area. I arrived around 8:30 AM and got a spot right near the TH in lot 2. |

Snowshoes, Light Traction |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
first crossing right at the TH is open with low water flow and easily rock hopped; next two crossings at approx .3 miles and 1.1 miles are solidly snow bridged as of today, but this may change quickly with warming temps. |

Wore spikes car to car and they worked well with today's conditions. Snowshoes went for a ride. Most folks out today wore spikes, a few w/ snowshoes, nobody barebooting. Trail was firmly packed monorail, soft off to the side though so be careful if you step off! The temps stayed cold this morning - low to mid 30's - with full cloud cover / no sun, so trail stayed pretty solid. Snowshoes will be needed though once temps warm a little and sun comes out - it will get soft fast! Summit was fogged in, but still a nice day to be out. |
