Went up north hancock and was able to do it in microspikes and poles but wished I had brought crampons-- that would have been better. It's pretty steep and icy up that .7 miles. Then over to South Hancock. The trail from North to South was hard to follow. I didn't see blazes and falling snow was covering up foot prints. Found enough tracks to follow then started to see blazes and all good after that. Down from South was snowy and did it in microspikes just fine. |
