Comments
Comments: I haven't been writing trip reports because they are mostly ski condition reports over the last month and I had some issues with whoever deleted my last post as I complained about sledders punching up and postholing one of the ski trails on Mt Cardigan.... ANYWAY the Carriage Rd has deep SOLID snow but it thawed enough so I could make turns. Top portion of the actual trail was generally unpleasantly narrow - I had to side-slip each of the narrow sections (not just due to snow depth though that is definitely a factor). I should have turned around at the Snapper Trail Junction because above that was just a bleep show of frozen postholes. I know this is not a dedicated ski trail, BUT, when a trail is shared with skiers/riders, as most people know this trail is, frozen postholes are dangerous. Just sayin'
