Comments
Comments: Trails were broken out but soft with the warm temps. I was able to wear spikes for the ascent without postholing but switched to snowshoes on the way down to help preserve the trail. There were hundreds of postholes all the way to the top, some up to 3 feet deep. If only everyone would wear snowshoes... Sosman Trail over to the ski area had seen some traffic. At the split below the summit there were no recent track staying on the Mt Tecumseh Trail. Sosman Trail above the split was a mess. A very narrow, unstable monorail riddled with post holes. The snow is very deep and with that came some nice views along the upper Sosman Trail.
