Parked at the 'turnaround,' then went in about 100 feet belowv the turnaround. Nice bushwhack up to a NH 500 peak, through lower fields of thorny brambles, opening up to spacious hard-wood fields. A few spruce traps... Great views spanning from New Found lake, Crosby, Tenney, Cannon, Franc Ridge, and Plymouth Mountain. The orange register is cool. Couldn't miss it, just when I wasn't sure whether to go left or right at the height of land. |
