From the lot to the hut was a cake walk, even with the 3-4 inches the night before. From the hut to the Summit of North Kinsman was packed well enough until the second steep push to the ridge, which was very drifty. Someone had broken out the trail to North from the Mount Kinsman trail, but there were still drifts to contend with. My friend went onto south, but I don't know the conditions. |
